Gioeni Park is a green area in Catania. built in 1972 and located in the north of the ring road at the end of via Etnea.

This park covers an area of about 7.5 hectares and is one of the largest green areas in the city. The land is volcanic in nature and has Mediterranean vegetation with native essences such as the olive tree, the bougainvillea, the oleander, the agave and the prickly pear, and the paths and the artifacts were made with the lava stone of the volcano Etna.

Inside the park we can also admire the wonderful remains of a Roman aqueduct.

This fabulous park is the ideal destination for relaxing afternoons for the people of Catania but also for the little ones because there is a beautiful playground where they can have fun and socialize.
